Key responsibilities
* Accurately load quotations onto Sage for the Business Development Team
* Communicate lead times and stock levels on request
* Work closely with both the Customer Service and Business Development Teams to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
* Manage the Sales Inbox and distribute emails to the relevant team / team member
* Act as phone cover for holidays and lunches if required
* Liaise with Procurement and Product Management in the procurement and setup of new items
Skills and experience
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
* Organised approach to workload, with an excellent understanding of prioritising tasks when required
* Excellent attention to detail
* Excellent IT skills, including use of Sage, Outlook, Microsoft Excel & Word
* Self‑motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team
