Sport – Our expertise across sports and motor sport includes working with some of the world’s largest organisations and rights holders to consult on and deliver premium fan experiences and hospitality, guest management programmes, sponsorship activations, racing, fan zones, touring kits, and opening ceremonies.
Brands – Our team understands that creativity has no boundaries. We are forever striving to provide clients with the brightest ideas to help solve business problems. Our Brands team works closely with leading global brands to deliver both B2B and B2C experiences including conferences, product launches, award ceremonies, exhibitions, and parties.
Entertainment – Our entertainment arm brings the best global talent and spectacular large-scale production values into the corporate world. Our team has conquered some of the most technically challenging briefs to produce spectacular live shows and touring music concerts.
Marketing Executive
Located at TBA, North Gower Street, London, NW1 2ND. Official working office hours are from 9 am to 5.30 pm, Monday to Friday.
The role:
As a Marketing Executive your overall responsibilities will be to help raise brand awareness for TBA plc and Velocity in their identified target audiences and to assist in generating new business leads, in line with company objectives.
Your specific marketing focus and responsibility will be to proactively develop, run and deliver TBA and Velocity’s strategic content plan encompassing social media as a priority, PR, campaign content, case study creation and written award entries.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
* To proactively and reactively drive, write, engage and track our social media strategy across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and Vimeo. Promote engagement of these channels to the TBA team
* Staying up to date with the latest social media trends and digital technologies
* Ensure that communication and conversations are had with the wider team to ensure no messaging/content opportunities are missed and content is captured and built into a content calendar
* Supported by the Managing Director, drive outreach with marketing and event press publications building relationships with key press titles
* Improve the variety of content type being produced by TBA and Velocity to offer their target audiences a diverse range of content including social media, PR, e-marketing, case studies, blogs, award entries
* Understand TBA and Velocity’s target audiences and segmentation to be able to deliver bespoke messages to our target audiences as part of the content plan and wider campaign messaging
* Create and manage content on TBA and Velocity’s website ensuring it remains current and correct
* Be an ambassador including how we look, how we show up, tone of voice and business messaging
* Oversee and coordinate a number of email marketing campaigns across the year
* To work with our brand guidelines and ensure strict adherence to external and internal
* Actively recognise and respond to external and internal activity to create relevant and timely content
* Manage marketing content on the TBA and Velocity system
* Manage TBA and Velocity’s award entry strategy (supported by the MD) by preparing and writing entries in relevant award bodies and to ensure maximum exposure of any wins or shortlisting
* Booking post event meetings with account leads to create written case studies where possible and where we can use them for marketing in the future e.g. awards, press features, etc.
* Manage the case study matrix to easily identify project activity and where missing information is required
* Support with weekly updates during team WIP and monthly reports on all areas of your activity for the Marketing Manager to share in operations meetings.
Key skills and expertise:
* Educated to degree level in a relevant field preferred
* Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with an eye for detail and thorough proof-reading
* Strong experience in creating content for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and Vimeo is essential
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) are essential
* Social media skills to proactively support regular marketing activity
* Familiarity with SEO and paid social media advertising advantageous but not essential
* Proactive and resourceful, able to use initiative
* Self-motivated and enthusiastic with a can-do positive attitude
* Highly efficient and organised approach to workload
* Ability to juggle day-to-day tasks with high-priority work
* Be well-presented at all times and confident in a corporate environment dealing with senior business leaders
* To be able to work autonomously and independently
* Be confident in developing ideas, content, and challenging the norm
