Your New Role
We are seeking an organised and customer-focused Service Advisorto join my clients busy team in Colchester. Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you will play a key role in the efficient running of the Service Office, supporting both administrative functions and customer service delivery. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a well-established business working with Agricultural, Horticultural, and Crane machinery.
Key Responsibilities
* Raise job cards and process invoices accurately and efficiently
* Complete all service department administration, including timesheets, warranty paperwork, and job card processing
* Manage and maintain existing customer accounts while developing new customer relationships
* Act as a key point of contact between customers and technicians regarding repairs and servicing
* Deliver high levels of customer service and ensure communication is clear, professional, and timely
What My Client IsLooking For
* Previous experience in a service department (Agricultural, Horticultural, Automotive, or similar industries preferred)
* Strong administrative skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
* Comfortable working in both office and workshop environments
* Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* Discreet and professional when handling confidential information
* Energetic, enthusiastic, and a strong team player
