Head of Enterprise Platforms
Salary: National: £100,000 - £120,000/ London: £110,000 - £135,000
Locations: Norwich/ Bristol/ London/ Perth/ York (UK)
The Head of Enterprise shared platforms will be accountable for leading our software engineering teams delivering Application Development, Maintenance (AD&M) and operations for multiple applications which deliver services across our markets (IWR, GI, Corporate Functions, C&M and AI). You will be leading a diverse and multi technology set of platforms and capabilities to serve our markets and functions within Group CIO. You will also lead our centralised Operations team for our customer facing applications, working with our suppliers to ensure continuity for our key applications.
A bit about the job:
This role is critical to providing IT leadership and transformational capabilities through implementation of leading technology and solutions. You will be expected to lead multiple, diverse platform and application teams to ensure a consistent, reliable delivery of services to our customers on behalf.
You will be expected to partner with CIO and business leads to identify, develop and execute transformation capabilities to enhance commercial and service objectives and build sustainable, world class IT and operational capabilities. You will be an outstanding member of the Group Enterprise Technology senior leadership team, collaborating with your peers, driving continuous growth whilst demonstrating the Aviva values.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
1. Demonstrable experience in leading large-scale, high-availability customer relationship management (CRM) or policy administration applications, whether PaaS, SaaS, or other
2. Proven experience in leading IT Operations teams and driving customer experience improvements and transformations
3. Expertise in platforms such as Salesforce, Alfresco, automation/business process management applications (Appian, Blue Prism, Kofax), API gateway/enterprise middleware, and mainframe technologies
4. Proven track record of implementing and delivering agile teams, squads, and value streams, while cultivating and inspiring high-performing teams leveraging insourced, outsourced, graduate, and apprenticeship talent to drive innovation and excellence
5. Experience working within fast-paced environments, ensuring exceptional quality, robust control standards, and financial awareness

6. National salary £100,000 - £120,000 and London £110,000 - £135,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
7. Bonus opportunity – 25% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
