Support Worker Location: Rural Shropshire Pay: £12.39 per hour Hours: Full-Time & Part-Time available (37.5 hours per week) Sleep-ins: Minimum requirement applies About the Service This specialist supported living service has been purpose-built for young adults who require supported independence. The service consists of a small housing cluster of four two-bedroom units. Everyone has their own en-suite bedroom, with shared kitchen facilities and access to a large communal hub for shared meals and activities. The accommodation retains the charm of an original farmhouse and is thoughtfully designed, with 24/7 on-call support available when required. The service supports eight young adults with autism, learning disabilities, and physical disabilities, enabling them to live active, fulfilling lives within the local community. Individuals are supported to take part in a wide range of activities including swimming, drama and dance groups, Zumba, baking, bingo, pub lunches, cycling, BBQs, gaming, and more. The Role We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, and compassionate Support Worker to join a friendly and diverse team. You will play a vital role in promoting independence, inclusion, and personal development for the people you support. Personal care is required as part of this role.
