We are looking for a Site Operative to join the GFP team, based in Brigg, on a permanent, full-time basis. You will be carrying out day-to-day activities of the site to assist in the delivery of high standards of safety, quality and operations whilst being part of a team that operates with integrity and accountability and delivering a high standard of customer service.
Responsibilities
* Assisting Site Management with all aspects of Seed Processing and Grain cleaning and Storage Operations
* Assisting Site Management to comply with Health, Safety and Quality procedures, including keeping records to ensure compliance
* Working to customer requirements regarding cleaning and storage operations to produce desired levels of quality and service
* Ensuring general housekeeping and hygiene of the site is maintained
* Ensuring the stores, plant and equipment are maintained to a high standard
About You
* Good communicator with the ability to consult with all team members and site management
* Able to work under pressure and to deadlines while upholding ICE values
* Adapts quickly to changing business and customer needs, providing a responsive customer-focused service
* Works to accommodate the seasonal nature of GFPs business
* Maintains a customer-first mindset while ensuring compliance and adherence to internal procedures where relevant
* Ability to work collaboratively with others and to work without supervision
* Loading shovel license (desirable but not essential)
* Tele-handler / FLT license (desirable but not essential)
* Workshop / Mechanical skill (desirable but not essential)
* Training will be provided for the right candidate
Your Role
