The Role

This role is responsible for processing commission statements from insurance providers, investigating and resolving any issues that arise, and maintaining accurate records in line with company policy and regulatory requirements. You'll play a key part in supporting your line manager and ensuring the finance team meets its objectives, working within established business procedures and compliance standards.

You'll also contribute to departmental projects, provide management information, and respond to both internal and external client needs. This is a detail-oriented position that requires strong organisational skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work.

What you'll be doing

* Processing commission statements from insurance providers in a timely and accurate manner.
* Investigating and resolving issues related to insurance debtors on the Epic system.
* Accurately processing adjustments and maintaining up-to-date records on company systems.
* Supporting your line manager with month-end and other business activities as required.
* Providing relevant management information to senior management.
* Assisting with departmental projects and contributing to team objectives.
* Responding appropriately to urgent issues as they arise.
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and company policies.
* Interpreting instructions and implementing actions according to procedures.
* Maintaining confidentiality and acting professionally with all clients and colleagues.

* Experience working in a high-volume team.
* Highly accurate, meticulous, and thorough in their work.
* Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Positive, professional attitude and approach.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
* Good analytical skills and sound judgement.

Qualifications

* Educated to GCSE standard (as a minimum).
