Surrey & Sussex Healthcare are recruiting Specialty Doctors (ST4+ and above) to join our busy Emergency Medicine team. The post holder will be offered a 10 PA with the option of additional APA contract with an individualised job plan.
We invite applications from candidates with an interest in teaching, as we have a wide remit in the training of medical staff in the department, undergraduate Medical students, Physician Associate students, and our 14 trainee Advanced Clinical practitioners. The department is keen to develop its Ultrasound portfolio and has accredited training Consultants to support this; we welcome applicants keen to consolidate their FAST scanning experience.
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to participate in departmental innovation/rapid improvement to add value to patient care. Many of our Specialty doctors have gone on to formal higher training and CCT/CESR application.
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work alongside/build relationships with various multidisciplinary team members in the diverse mix we have in the department, plus our mental health, pre-hospital, and community colleagues.
The post holder must maintain up-to-date skills/knowledge in resuscitation skills, i.e., ALS. ATLS or ETC is not mandatory but an advantage, and we can support you to obtain this if necessary.

The salary for this role is £61,542 to £99,216 per annum, depending on experience.
