Senior Commercial Property Solicitor (5+ PQE) – London
A highly regarded legal 500 ranked and growing law firm with an excellent reputation in property are looking to grow their Commercial Property team and hire a senior associate due to continued success.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and commercially focused firm with an impressive client base spanning developers, investors, lenders, and established businesses. The role offers a high level of autonomy, direct client contact, and the opportunity to play a key role in the development of the department.
The Opportunity
You will manage a broad range of high-quality commercial property matters, including:
* Acquisitions and disposals of commercial property (freehold and leasehold)
* Acting for developers on site acquisitions, development schemes, and onward disposals
* Commercial leasing matters, including landlord and tenant work and agreements for lease
* Real estate finance and secured lending transactions for both lenders and borrowers
* Investment property matters for portfolio clients
* Supporting on complex, high-value, or time-sensitive transactions where required
This role will provide you with a genuine opportunity to work towards partnership, with the firm encouraging business development and maintaining strong client relationships.

Known for its commercially focused and proactive approach, the team handles high-value transactions across sectors including offices, hospitality, retail, healthcare, and development, regularly advising on investment portfolios, secured lending, acquisitions, disposals, and large-scale development projects.
Due to continued growth and increasing client demand, the firm is expanding its Commercial Property team to further strengthen its offering and continue providing the responsiveness, expertise, and quality of service clients expect.
Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
* Minimum 5 years’ PQE specialising in Commercial Property
* Strong experience managing a varied commercial property caseload independently
* Sound technical knowledge with strong commercial and financial awareness
* Experience acting for developers, investors, lenders, and/or borrowers
* Confident communicator with strong drafting and negotiation skills
* Organised, proactive, and capable of managing competing deadlines effectively
* Commercially minded with a pragmatic and solutions-focused approach
* An interest in business development and contributing to team growth
