SEN Teacher – Dorset
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a specialist educational setting in Dorset. We are seeking an enthusiastic professional who is committed to supporting children and young people with special educational needs to achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
The successful candidate will:
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
* Support pupils with a range of complex needs including autism, communication difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs
* Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, families, and external professionals
* Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP reviews and personalised learning plans
We are looking for someone who:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Has experience working within SEN or specialist education settings
* Demonstrates patience, resilience, creativity, and strong communication skills
* Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
* Has a genuine passion for inclusive education
