School Receptionists
PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU UNDERSTAND THAT THE ROLES ARE TEMPORARY, AS AND WHEN REQUIRED. As the schools are closing for the summer, these positions will start from September.
It is ADVANTAGEOUS that applicants have some school receptionist experience. However, applicants with STRONG RECEPTIONIST experience in a similar sector will also be considered.
You MUST BE willing to work on a TEMPORARY basis and between the hours of 8:00 a.m. & 4:30 p.m. There will be full-time and part-time positions available throughout the school year, which may vary in duration.
There may also be an opportunity to move to a permanent contract within the schools, although this is NOT guaranteed.
As a School Receptionist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Welcoming students, guests, and parents into the school
2. Ensuring safeguarding processes are followed
3. Answering telephone calls and filtering as necessary
4. Responding to emails
5. Sending letters to parents
6. Typing letters and memos
7. Filing, faxing, and photocopying
8. Dealing with parents and pupils
YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO FULLY REGISTER WITH US, INCLUDING PROVIDING RIGHT TO WORK DOCUMENTS AND OBTAINING AN ENHANCED CHILD WORKFORCE DBS, WHICH WE WILL PROCESS AT A COST OF £56 (UNLESS YOU ALREADY HAVE ONE REGISTERED ON THE UPDATE SERVICE). PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE ABLE TO DO THIS.
