At Hays, we are currently working with a multinational organisation who are conducting a search for an aplished Credit Manager. This role is ideal for amercially minded credit leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and can drive measurable improvements in cash flow, debtor performance, and team capability.
In your new role as a Credit Manager, you will lead a credit control function, ensuring strong cash‑collection performance, effective debtor management, and seamless collaboration with sales and finance stakeholders. Some of your key responsibilities include:
1. Drive regional cash‑collection performance and reduce aged debt.
2. Act as the escalation point for late‑payment and high-risk debtor issues.
3. Partner with sales teams to resolve disputes and maintain strong cross-functionalmunication.
4. Produce and review monthly and weekly credit performance reports.
5. Lead, motivate, and develop the regional credit control team.
6. Approve accounts progressing to legal action and ensure accurate documentation for reviews.
You will need:
7. Proven experience in credit control or credit management leadership.
8. Strong understanding of cash flow, debtor‑day KPIs, and credit‑risk processes.
9. Experience managing or supervising a credit control team.
10. Proficiency with SAP, and Excel.
11. Accountability and transparency.
12. Strongmunication and distinguishability skills.
13. A people‑focused leadership style.
