GSL Education are seeking a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join schools in Littleover. As an EYFS TA, this is a fantastic opportunity to support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage, helping them develop socially, emotionally, and academically in a nurturing environment. As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate learning activities. Assisting children with early literacy, numeracy, and social development. Encouraging curiosity, creativity, and independence in the classroom. Providing additional one-to-one or small group support when needed. Ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and happiness of all children in your care. To be an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you should: Have prior experience working with young children, ideally in an EYFS setting. Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). Be patient, nurturing, and committed to supporting children’s early learning journey. Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one. A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment over the last 10 years.
