Job Overview
Based in the Dental Centre at MoD Lyneham, this role provides a broad and flexible service to meet the contracted administration requirements of the Armed Forces and there is the potential to rotate through various elements of professional responsibilities when required to meet the needs of the business. Training can be provided, where appropriate.
Main Duties
1. Provide a dedicated day-to-day focal point for the dental services administration, including a direct customer interfaces and liaison with clinical staff.
2. Coordinate Dental Centre appointments, including patient notification and ‘no show' reporting.
3. Maintain and protect patient-related data.
4. Data capture and input, updating the medical administration system.
5. Ensure all activities are carried out in full compliance with current Health and Safety Regulations and the General Data Protection Regulations.
6. Undertake any additional tasks as determined by the Line Manager, including support/cover for other staff.

The successful candidate will be well-organised, precise, confident with credible communication skills readily able and willing to contribute at all levels. In addition, the individual will be versatile, intuitive, and professional with good judgement and absolute integrity. Pro-active and persuasive when required and responsive to changing needs of the business and demands of the customer, while remaining calm under pressure and self-motivated, the incumbent will be reliable and well presented, giving a positive image of MITIE company values. In addition, the following is needed.
7. Administration experience with good organisational and motivational skills and a high degree of integrity.
8. Proven track record of delivering quality administration and service with customer facing experience.
9. Persuasive and credible verbal and written communicator with the ability to develop close working relationships.
10. IT literate with a good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
11. Conversant/knowledge of MOD medical administration applications and systems (desirable).
12. Proactive approach and the ability to embrace and lead on change.
13. Ability to manage short notice changes to requirements and deadline.
14. Good standard of education.
