We're seeking a skilled and motivated Sous Chef to support our Head Chef in a busy kitchen team of five. Our small hotel serves modern dishes with classical elements, using fresh, locally sourced produce.
This is a hands-on role requiring all-round cooking skills across various sections of the kitchen. You'll be involved in breakfast, lunch, and evening service, with flexibility in shifts and 2–3 nights off per week.
What We're Looking For:
* Experience in a similar role (Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie ready to step up)
* Confident in leading service and supporting the Head Chef
* Passionate about fresh food and presentation
* Good knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety
* Reliable, organised, and a team player
Job Details:
* Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
* Pay: £14.50–£16.00 per hour (based on experience)
* Tips: Paid monthly (approx. £100/month)
* Hours: 5 days per week with 2 days off
* Shifts: Mixed shifts including breakfast, lunch, and evenings
Salary: Is dependant on hours worked and experience. Tips paid monthly (around £100/month). Candidates would be expected to work 5 days a week with 2 days off.
