About the Role
At the core of our work is the safety and needs of children, focusing on legal representation for Children's Services.
Join our effective team and contribute to outstanding results. We offer a clear vision for the future, excellent team structures, enriched training, mentoring, coaching, and high client valuation.
You will support Manchester, Rochdale, and Salford’s Children’s Services, providing legal support to other lawyers and senior team members. You will have opportunities to offer legal advice independently, draft legal documents, liaise with clients and other parties, and undertake advocacy.
This role is ideal for someone eager to develop their legal skills within a large childcare team, handling public service legal work for Manchester, Salford, and Rochdale Councils, and the Greater Manchester Combined Authority—an area where major decisions are increasingly made in-house.
We provide flexible start and finish times within a hybrid working model. There are opportunities for professional growth through our Lexcel-accredited legal service.
Our Team Philosophy
We understand the emotional weight of cases involving the loss of a child. Our approach is teamwork-based—trust, shared knowledge, problem-solving, and mutual support help us achieve the best outcomes. Our collaborative environment fosters deep learning, a strong sense of belonging, and a shared purpose, driven by enthusiasm and a dynamic team spirit.
