Level 2 and Level 3 Nursery Nurses in Stevenage
As a Nursery Nurse, you will support the care and development of children, assisting with activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and intellectual growth. You will work closely with colleagues to maintain a safe, nurturing environment and help prepare children for the next stage of their learning journey.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities and learning experiences
* Support children with daily routines, including meals, hygiene, and rest
* Observe and monitor children’s development and report progress
* Maintain a safe and clean environment at all times
* Promote positive behaviour and support social and emotional development
* Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and management
Experience
* Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
* Experience caring for children across different age groups
* Understanding of child development and learning strategies
Skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience, empathy, and reliability
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Organisation and attention to detail

Educational Requirements
* Level 2 or Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Care and Education (or equivalent)
