Regional Manager - Subsidence Team
The role:
We currently have an opportunity for a Regional Manager to join our team, within our Subsidence Services division, within the Specialist Subsidence Team.
Although based at home, you will be required to work periodically from regional offices, plus undertaking occasional client and customer visits as required.
You will be responsible for managing a team of approx.10 Building Consultants who handle subsidence insurance claims, ensuring colleague development, service delivery of team`s performance and complaint resolution. You will be able to take on instructions from internal managers and external clients, self-managing to conclusion. You will have client responsibilities acting as headliner for chosen clients.
You will have/will be:
1. A Chartered Building related qualification and an insurance qualification
2. A detailed understanding and knowledge of structural building damage, especially subsidence diagnosis, investigation and repair methods
3. Experience of subsidence insurance claims handling – ideally 10 years+
4. Have good people management and organisational skills
5. The ability to be decisive in resolving matters, an appreciation of the importance of delivering outstanding customer service, excellent communication and empathy skills
6. The ability to work in a home-based role but closely with a remote team and other colleagues, as well as manage and plan your own workload whilst delivering professional advice to both claimants and insurers
7. Good presentation skills for internal and external meetings, training & presentations
8. Flexibility in times of surge/work uplift
9. A good working knowledge of IT, most Microsoft packages and ability to operate both windows and apple hardware devices
10. A full UK driving licence
