Salary: £28,142 – £29,540 (depending on experience)

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Asset Technical Administrator to support our Asset Management Service. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of Somerset's leading housing providers, managing over 4,000 properties on behalf of Somerset Council.
What You'll Do
* Provide essential administrative support across the Asset Management team and wider service.
* Maintain accurate and trusted asset data across systems including PIMSS and Open Housing.
* Assist with property-related data, surveys, and customer liaison.
* Support capital, repairs, and retrofit projects through data gathering and scheduling.
* Liaise with residents, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety and quality standards.
What You'll Bring
Essential:
* Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel.
* Proven administrative experience (ideally in housing/property).
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Understanding of asset management principles and data integrity.
Desirable:
* Knowledge of housing legislation and building components.
* Experience with asset management systems (e.g. PIMSS, Keystone).
* Familiarity with ALMOs or social landlords.
* Training in data analytics, Power BI or SQL.
Education:
* Minimum GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
* NVQ Level II in Business Administration (desirable).
