ROLE: Scheduler
LOCATION: Mitie TSOC, Atlas Business Park

We're looking for a Scheduler who will deliver excellent service standards while ensuring all engineering jobs are allocated, monitored, and completed in line with SLA and compliance requirements.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Schedule all reactive, remedial, and planned works to the appropriate engineering resource.
2. Utilise scheduling systems effectively to deploy the correct engineer based on location, skills, and response targets.
3. Support first‑time fixes through efficient allocation of internal engineers and subcontractors.
4. Ensure all job information is accurately captured in the relevant IT systems.
5. Track job progress, follow up on incomplete work, and reallocate resources where required.
6. Monitor engineers' travel and activity, responding proactively to operational issues.
7. Arrange and coordinate third‑party attendance, raising POs and ensuring completion documentation is supplied.
8. Ensure all tasks are completed within required timeframes and cost expectations.
9. Handle communications professionally with engineers, managers, and suppliers.
10. Accurately record non‑productive time in the system.
11. Escalate issues affecting performance, SLAs, or customer satisfaction promptly.
12. Adhere to all Mitie policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
13. Report any equipment or system deficiencies that may impact service delivery.
14. Use PPE and work equipment correctly, following training and compliance guidance.
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.
15. Strong IT skills, including CAFM systems (e.g., Maximo) and advanced Excel proficiency.
16. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey clear and detailed information.
17. Ability to work effectively with engineers, managers, and third‑party suppliers.
18. Able to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
19. Creative and analytical approach to problem‑solving using technology and data.
20. Strong commitment to process adherence and compliance.
21. Strong team player with a proactive attitude.
22. Ability to pass BPSS security clearance.
