Global Highland are delighted to be supporting our client in the recruitment of a QHSE Advisor. This role will be pivotal in delivering and embedding robust Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) auditing processes in line with national and international standards.
The successful candidate will lead on comprehensive audits to evaluate compliance and effectiveness of systems, processes, and products against established quality benchmarks and regulatory requirements. This includes detailed documentation reviews, assessment of policies and procedures, and close collaboration with Principal Contractors to ensure Project Safety, Quality, and Environmental Plans are developed and implemented to the highest standard.
The role will also involve contributing to accident and incident investigations, identifying root causes, and delivering strategic advice and guidance to share lessons learned across the organisation. By conducting in-depth SHEQ audits on internal operations as well as contractor activities, the job holder will play a critical role in driving continuous improvement, compliance, and a proactive culture of risk management and safety excellence.
Through rigorous evaluation and transparency, this position will ensure that quality assurance is fully integrated into the organisation’s operations, supporting the achievement of compliance and safety objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out compliance audits across Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment functions.

Work closely with stakeholders to embed SHEQ best practice and align with business objectives.

Engage with field teams to gather feedback, drive initiatives, and assess behaviours.

Support the implementation of an Integrated Management System in line with ISO45001, ISO9001, ISO14001, and relevant industry standards.
*
Contribute to the ongoing development and review of SHEQ processes in line with legislation and best practice.
*
Ensure corrective actions are implemented and their effectiveness monitored as part of the continual improvement process.

A valid UK driver’s licence and eligibility to work in the UK
