Join to apply for the Corporate Services (Audit) Assistant (Cambridge) role at Ensors Chartered Accountants. We are seeking a part-qualified Assistant to join the growing Corporate Services (Audit) team at our modern Cambridge office, located in Histon. This role provides an opportunity to continue your accountancy training with a prestigious regional practice.
Responsibilities
* Lead (or develop into leading) on small audit engagements and assist on larger audit assignments within the team as required.
* Prepare accounts for a variety of businesses.
Qualifications and requirements
* Must be studying towards or have partially completed AAT, ACCA or ICAEW (ACA) qualifications, and have a minimum of 1 year’s recent experience of Corporate Services work within a UK practice environment.
* Full study support will be provided to continue your pathway towards qualification, and clawback coverage will be considered where applicable. You should also meet the following academic criteria:
* A minimum of 2 A levels at Grade C or above (including Maths) OR the equivalent standard in a business-related vocational qualification.
* If you do not hold Maths A level, a minimum attainment of Grade B/Grade 6 in GCSE Maths OR
* Alternatively you should be a graduate, holding a minimum 2.1 degree.

The Role
The exact type of work you undertake will depend upon your experience and competencies but this role provides real scope to develop your existing skills. Subject to your existing level of experience, you will be expected to lead (or develop into leading) on small audit jobs and assist on larger audit assignments within the team as required. You will also be required to prepare accounts for a variety of businesses. We have a fantastic study support package to offer. The firm will cover all tuition and Institute fees and you will also be entitled to paid time off for your studies, along with mentoring support.
