Responsibilities
* Perform diagnostic and special procedure ultrasonography in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Education / Licenses / Certifications
* High School diploma or equivalency certificate (e.g., GED, HiSET, TASC) from an accredited institution or governmental unit required.
* Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS).
* CEU documentation required for certification.
* American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
* Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty.
Experience
* Two to three years of experience in adult echo and stress/echo preferred.
* Able to independently perform tests.
Skills
* Good interpersonal, organizational and decision-making skills.
* Ability to take initiative and work independently.
