We’re looking for a Principal Electrical Engineer to join a growing team of 8 in Oxford, helping deliver building services projects from design through to completion. The team is expanding, so this is a great opportunity to lead on design, manage projects, and mentor junior engineers.
What you’ll be doing:
* Leading project surveys, feasibility studies, and electrical design
* Producing specifications and drawings
* On-site supervision and contract administration
* Managing mechanical services installations
* Mentoring and supporting junior team members
What we’re looking for:
* Degree in a relevant subject
* 10+ years’ experience for Principal, 5+ years for Senior-level roles
* Experience managing teams and mentoring juniors
* Strong knowledge of electrical building services design
* AutoCAD experience (reading/understanding drawings is important)
* Excellent communication, organisational, and prioritisation skills
* Driving license and own transport
* Competent with Microsoft Office
* Experience with additional design/modelling software (training provided)
