Head of Fundraiser (Part-Time)
£50,000 FTE (pro rata) 2–3 days per week
Worcestershire
Age UK North Worcestershire believe later life should be valued, supported and celebrated. Every service we deliver – from advice and wellbeing support to tackling loneliness – depends on sustainable funding.
We are now looking for a dynamic, commercially minded Head of Fundraiser to help shape and grow our income generation for the future.
If you’re ambitious, well-connected, and motivated by both targets and purpose, this is your opportunity to create real, measurable impact in your community.
Why This Role Matters
This isn’t a maintenance role. It’s a growth role.
You’ll have the autonomy to design and deliver a focused fundraising strategy that drives new income streams, strengthens corporate partnerships, and builds long-term supporter relationships.
Your success will directly enable us to support more older people across North Worcestershire.
What You’ll Do
· Create and implement a clear, ambitious fundraising plan
· Identify and secure new business and corporate partnerships
· Develop sponsorship opportunities and fundraising events
· Increase both unrestricted and restricted income
· Build a strong pipeline of trusts, grants and community supporters
· Meet and exceed agreed annual revenue targets
This is a strategic yet hands-on position where ideas turn into action — and action turns into income.
Who We’re Looking For
You may come from fundraising, sales, account management, or business development. What matters most is that you:
· Have a proven track record of generating income or securing partnerships
· Are confident opening doors and building meaningful relationships
· Thrive working independently with clear objectives
· Are target-driven, resilient and commercially astute
· Care deeply about improving later life for older people
You’ll be comfortable owning your results — and excited by the opportunity to build something sustainable.
What You’ll Gain
· Flexibility: 2–3 days per week with autonomy
· Influence: A strategic role with visible impact
· Purpose: Work that genuinely changes lives
· Trust: Space to lead, innovate and deliver
