Overview
We're working with a high-profile, innovation-led organisation based in Nottingham that is actively transforming its technology platform using Microsoft Azure, DevOps, and cloud-native architecture.
This is a highly project-focused role suited to an Azure Platform Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or Azure DevOps Engineer who wants to work on large-scale cloud migration, platform engineering, and modernisation initiatives rather than traditional support.
The environment is cloud-first, automation-driven, and engineering-led - with a strong emphasis on scalability, security, reliability, and cost optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design, build, and maintain Azure cloud platforms and landing zones
2. Deliver Azure infrastructure projects including migrations, modernisation, and new platform builds
3. Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM) for repeatable deployments
4. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
5. Engineer highly available, secure, and resilient cloud environments
6. Implement Azure networking (VNets, NSGs, VPN, ExpressRoute) and identity (Entra ID / Azure AD, RBAC)
