The role of Executive Secretary will include:
1. Delivering, coordinating, maintaining and monitoring an effective high quality secretarial service to support senior managers and Directors to operate efficiently
2. Preparing and presenting information, clearly and concisely, to effectively communicate key business messages, this may include support with Executive-level Committees, collating briefing/research and drafting Group-level communications as necessary
3. Ensuring discretion and confidentiality at all times
4. Communicating effectively and maintaining good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
5. Ensuring any issues are identified and dealt with appropriately, including investigating and responding to complaints
6. Preparing for, attend and take minutes at meetings, to ensure effective organisation and record keeping
7. Maintaining effective financial systems (financial, HR and expenses) by operating within appropriate financial policies and procedures
8. Supporting the Executive Assistant with organisation and set up of successful events/visits for the Group Chief Executive
Skills and experiences:
9. Secretarial qualification, NVQ3 in business administration or knowledge and experience at an equivalent level
10. Proven experience of providing secretarial support to senior level executives
11. Recent experience of undertaking a similar role
12. Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
13. Excellent understanding of written and spoken English and communication skills
14. Excellent interpersonal and customer care skills
15. Basic negotiation and presentation skills
16. Ability to interpret computerised information and documentation
17. Intermediate Microsoft 365 skills

29. Role salary is £26,982 (rising to £28,402 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
