We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate Electrical Engineer to join our growing MEP team, with the position being based in Bristol. This role will work closely with our established Plymouth team, while also providing a strong on the ground presence in Bristol. It presents an exciting long term opportunity to help grow and shape our Bristol office, with a clear progression route to Director.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, multidisciplinary consultancy with a strong reputation across the built environment. You will collaborate with teams across Building Services, Civil & Structural Engineering, Project Services, Architecture, Safety, Interiors, and Planning.
About the Role
You will play a key role in delivering high quality electrical design solutions across a broad range of projects, including commercial, education, residential, and healthcare sectors. Alongside technical leadership, you will support business development, mentor engineers, and contribute to the strategic growth of the Bristol presence.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design and specification of electrical building services systems
* Manage projects from concept through to completion
* Work closely with the Plymouth team while developing client relationships in Bristol
* Coordinate with internal disciplines and external consultants
* Mentor and develop junior engineers
* Support the long-term growth of the Bristol office
Requirements
* Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or equivalent experience
* Significant experience within a building services consultancy environment
* Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and relevant standards
* Proven ability to lead projects and manage multiple deadlines
* Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership (highly desirable)
* Ambition to progress into a senior leadership / Director-level role
