HR and Payroll Advisor - Birmingham, We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR and Payroll Advisor to lead the people and culture function at Billesley Manor Hotel and Spa. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting operational managers, driving employee engagement, ensuring compliance, and fostering a positive workplace culture aligned with our brand values.
* Provide expert advice and guidance to managers on all HR matters
* Manage the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding
* Lead employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management
* Support with payroll processing and compliance
* Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies
* Maintain accurate HR records and reporting
* Support learning and development initiatives across the hotel
* Oversee payroll processes in liaison with finance
* Drive employee engagement, wellbeing initiatives, and retention strategies. Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within hospitality
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law
* Confident managing employee relations cases independently
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Discreet and professional with the ability to handle confidential information
