As the Regional Director / Sales Director, you will oversee approximately £80 million P&L across the North-West of England, demonstrating collaborative leadership and strategic awareness with a balanced sales and operations background.
BASIC SALARY:
£110,000 - £130,000 + 30% STIP

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Regional Sales Director and Operations Director. You will direct the operational and strategic course for your region, ensuring smooth operations and driving growth. The role requires a dynamic leader with strong commercial acumen, capable of implementing strategies, leading process transformations, and exceeding customer expectations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manage 4-6 depot locations with circa £80 million P&L and £30 million EBITDA, leading operations and sales professionals.
* Lead, coach, motivate, and develop a team of 7-10 direct and indirect colleagues, focusing on people development and succession planning.
* Implement sales strategies to ensure profitable growth with major clients, such as construction contractors.
* Promote a safety-first culture, driving transformational change with emphasis on safety, service, quality, cost, and delivery.
* Operate in a high-demand environment with high expectations from private equity ownership, recognizing the pressure and rewards involved.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Alignment with our values is essential, especially ownership, accountability, results-driven approach, and safety consciousness. You should demonstrate experience in:
* Fast-paced manufacturing or related industries (construction, food, automotive, pharmaceuticals) within larger corporations.
* Leading teams of 5-10 direct and over 60 indirect reports.
* A management style that is visible, approachable, knowledgeable, and accountable, with familiarity with regional team engagement.
* Managing a £20 million+ P&L with a focus on profitable growth.
* Experience with continuous improvement, transformational change, and M&A integration.
