Blue Arrow is proud to be working in partnership with a family run business in the Bradford area which has been operating for 12 years. We are recruiting an experienced Business Development Associate to join their ever-growing team on a fulltime, permanent basis.
As a business development associate your primary responsibility will be to promote and sell newly launched carbon neutral paper range to educational institutions. This will involve new business outbound calls and account management of existing clients. During the school holidays you will be bringing on new clients in the print and packaging sector to boost sales during the quieter weeks.
About the Business Development Associate role:
* Conduct new business cold calling to educational institutions in Yorkshire.
* Manage and nurture relationships with existing accounts.
* Telemarketing to print and packaging customers during school holidays.
* Maintain and build databases, keeping updated records.
* Stay informed about industry competitors and customer needs.
* Achieve and exceed sales targets through self-discipline and initiative.
Requirements:
* Previous business development experience is essential.
* And ability to build rapport with new and existing clients.
