North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust
Assistant Practitioner Pelvic Health *Internal Applicants*
The closing date is 28 June 2026
INTERNAL ONLY TO NORTH CUMBRIA INTEGRATED CARE NHS FOUNDATION TRUST (NCIC) EMPLOYEES ONLY
Come and join us in a secondment opportunity not offered previously in North Cumbria! The Pelvic Health Physiotherapy team are small and ambitious, looking to expand and support new team members, and we would like an Assistant Practitioner to join us on a 6‑month basis.
The team supports men and women across Cumbria to manage a range of pelvic health conditions including acute and long‑term conditions; pre‑ and post‑operative procedures.
We are keen to develop a wide range of skills within the team and, with the support of senior staff, would like you to help in managing some of our less‑complex caseloads; running groups; supporting service development and bringing the skills and opportunities you feel you can offer to us.
The post will be based in West Cumbria (Whitehaven and Workington) but some travel and cross‑site working will be anticipated, including but not exclusive to Carlisle.
Have you had previous experience of working with this patient group and would like to challenge those skills further? Is this something new and you would like to see whether a change in team will push you to learn new skills?
We are keen for applicants across the Trust who have a passion for helping patients with the skills to support this secondment and improve the service whilst working with us.
Please note the role is awaiting confirmation of banding via job matching.
