About the Role: You will be responsible for supporting the daily care, learning, and development of children within the setting, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment. Requirements Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (Level 3 preferred). Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting is advantageous. Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development stages. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting young children’s learning and wellbeing. Responsibilities Assist the Room Leader in managing the daily running of the nursery room. Take charge of the room in the Room Leader’s absence, ensuring consistency of care, routine, and safety. Help plan, prepare, and deliver a stimulating, age-appropriate curriculum aligned with EYFS standards. Support children’s physical, emotional, and social development through creative and engaging activities. Maintain accurate observations and records of children’s progress. Ensure a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment at all times.
