We are currently recruiting for a Welder to work for our client based in Haverhill. The role is full-time, temporary to permanent basis and they are looking for someone to start immediately. Overtime is also available.
Typical Duties would include:
* Weld steel components with welding equipment as specified on engineering drawings, using WPS specifications & weld plans.
* Work includes set-up, laying out work using jigs/fixtures or hand layouts to fabricate parts and/or rework finished products.
* Ability to weld and clean Mild Steel and Stainless Steel. (Aluminium would be a bonus)
* Operate forklifts, hoists and hand power tools,
* Inspect and correct welds as necessary to meet product specifications.
* Read, understand, and follow job order specifications, engineering drawings, and/or work orders.
The Successful Candidate:
* Eager to develop current and new skills
* Experience MIG and TIG Welding (Desirable)
* Must have knowledge and experience in Welding
* Experience working in a manufacturing environment
