Reed Education is working in partnership with a thriving and inclusive specialist school in Leeds to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a long-term opportunity starting in September 2025, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Your Role Will Include:
1. Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis, helping them to regulate emotions and engage in learning.
2. Building trusting relationships with students who may have experienced trauma or disrupted education.
3. Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to implement behaviour support plans.
4. Promoting a calm, safe, and structured learning environment.
