Procurement Analyst - Food & Beverage
We are recruiting for a Procurement Analyst role within our Food & Beverage (F&B) Procurement team. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and commercially-minded professional to make an immediate impact. You will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on a portfolio of food and drink metrics, market data, commodity trends, and insights. Your work will support best-practice procurement, category strategy development, sourcing plans, tendering, negotiation, and supplier management. You will leverage deep market knowledge and analytical skills to drive value, efficiency, and resilience across our F&B supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct financial modeling and market analysis of global commodity markets, including supply/demand dynamics, pricing trends, and input cost drivers.
2. Develop predictive models to forecast future market trends and input costs to mitigate inflation, identify efficiency opportunities, and manage risk.
3. Gather and analyze data from multiple sources (government reports, industry publications, financial statements) and produce clear, actionable reports for stakeholders.
4. Support F&B Procurement Managers in managing supplier rebates and income collection, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
5. Collaborate with Finance teams to deliver accurate F&B performance reporting, including inflation analysis.
6. Partner with Responsible Sourcing and Investor Relations teams to provide data and reporting for sustainability commitments.
Location & Salary
Dunstable, hybrid (minimum 3 days in the office). Salary: up to £75,000 plus bonus.
Minimum Requirements
* Financial analysis experience
* Familiarity with trading platforms, financial analysis software, and data management tools
* Knowledge of commodities relevant to F&B sourcing, including production processes, pricing, and supply chain dynamics
* Project and change management skills
* Business financial accounting knowledge and ability to analyze data effectively
* Proficiency in data analysis tools and financial modeling
* Experience in gathering and analyzing data from various sources using statistical models and visualization techniques
* Forecasting skills for market trends and price movements
* Strong IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Office)
* 2-3 years relevant financial commodity experience
* Degree in economics, finance, mathematics, or related field
* Credibility with senior stakeholders and supplier management
* Understanding of Food & Drink procurement best practices
