Robert Half are seeking a Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with Retail/Consumer experience and strong Power BI & Excel skills to join a growing South West retail business on a hands-on, interim project basis. You will play a key role in a finance due diligence and refinancing project, preparing management accounts, delivering store-level and channel-level analysis, and supporting external advisors with complex financial datasets.
Location: South West England (flexible/fully remote working considered)
Contract: 6 Months Fixed-Term Contract
Day Rate / Salary Equivalent: £60-65k pro rata
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with reconciliations
* Produce store, channel, and geographic-level P&Ls
* Analyse revenue, cost of sales, and gross margin by channel and product category
* Manage ad hoc financial data requests and present clear insights
* Deliver findings via Excel workbooks and Power BI dashboards
* Work closely with CFO, FD, and FC
Essential Requirements:
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
* Strong technical accounting and financial modelling expertise
* Advanced Excel skills (modelling, scenario analysis, automation)
* Power BI expertise (data modelling, DAX, dashboards)
* Ability to manage tight deadlines and communicate effectively
Desirable:
* Retail or Consumer sector experience
* Microsoft AX or similar ERP experience
