About Our Client
Our client is a large organisation in the healthcare industry, based in North Yorkshire. They are known for their innovative approach, and for being a key player in the sector.
Job Description
* Oversee and manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
* Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
* Supporting the organisation through their audit.
* Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
* Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
* Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
* Support month-end and year-end close process.
* Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
* Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Group Accountant should have:
* A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
* Prior experience as a Financial Accountant/ Group Accountant, preferably within the healthcare industry.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and leadership skills.
