Overview
The University of St Andrews Business School is seeking an organised, proactive and student-focused Teaching Administrator to join our Teaching Administration team. This is an excellent opportunity to support the delivery of teaching administration across a dynamic and growing Business School, working with colleagues across undergraduate and postgraduate taught provision.
The Teaching Administrator provides essential operational support across a wide range of academic and student-facing activity, including assessment and examinations administration, student enquiries, module administration, timetabling support, academic process administration, and wider student lifecycle activity. The role works closely with academic colleagues, students, central professional services teams, and the wider Teaching Administration team to support the smooth running of key administrative processes throughout the academic year.
We are looking for someone with excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment. Strong communication skills, a collaborative approach, and a commitment to providing a high-quality student and staff experience will be key to success in this role.
Benefits
* Financial contribution to relocation (subject to eligibility)
* Membership of the S&LAS Pension Scheme with generous employer contributions
* A hybrid working environment, including partial homeworking where appropriate and a range of family friendly policies, supporting work-life balance
* Staff discount scheme for local and national goods and services
* Free staff parking, employee Carshare and Cycle to Work Schemes and subsidised local bus travel
* Subsidised sports membership, reduced tuition fees on degree programmes for staff, access to training and development opportunities including LinkedIn Learning, access to library facilities, salary sacrifice scheme
* 30 Days Annual Leave plus 5 Public Holidays.
The Business School supports hybrid working; however, this role requires a strong on-campus presence due to the operational and student-facing nature of the post.
