Location: Suffolk or Manchester (London considered) with travel to Suffolk as required.
Contract: Permanent, full-time.
Salary: Competitive depend on experience, plus benefits.
Benefits include:
* Annual Leave: 28 days per annum, increasing to 30 days after 5 years of service, plus bank holidays.
* Bonus: 5% on target annual bonus.
* Pension Contributions: Defined Contribution Pension Scheme with up to 7.5% employee contribution, 15% employer contribution.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel – HS&E and Regulatory to provide strategic legal advice across health, safety, environmental and regulatory matters for the Sizewell C project. Working closely with senior stakeholders, operational teams and external advisers, you will play a key role in supporting one of the UK’s largest and most complex construction and nuclear programmes.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer with strong regulatory expertise to contribute to a nationally significant project operating in a highly regulated environment.
About You
* Qualified solicitor/barrister in England & Wales (or equivalent jurisdiction)
* Significant post-qualification experience in regulatory, environmental, health & safety or infrastructure law
* Experience advising within highly regulated sectors such as energy, infrastructure, construction, transport, utilities or nuclear
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Ability to balance legal risk with commercial delivery objectives
* Experience managing complex, fast-moving matters in a collaborative environment
* Experience working on major infrastructure or nuclear projects
* Familiarity with UK regulatory bodies including the HSE, Environment Agency and ONR
* In‑house legal experience preferred
