As a Paralegal (Highways, Planning and Environment), you will manage a caseload and assist the legal team. Our team deals with the Legal work for a wide variety of clients including Highways and Public Rights of Way. The role is varied and included preparing Legal Notices, contributing to Legal Reports and supporting Solicitors in the team. This role is crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality legal services within the Resources Directorate.
What we're looking for:
1. 5 GCSEs (including English and Maths grade C or equivalent )
2. Experience working as part of a team. You’ll need to be able to work independently and plan your workload to meet statutory deadlines.
3. Excellent communication skills. You should be able to explain complex information both verbally and in writing. You will be dealing with internal clients, external solicitors and members of the public.

5. Whilst not essential, it would be beneficial if applicants also had experience working as part of a legal team.
