About the Role:
The Pastoral Support Officer will work closely with Heads of Year and the Safeguarding Team to support students' wellbeing, behaviour, and engagement in school. You will act as a key point of contact for students needing pastoral support and help ensure they can thrive both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide pastoral support to students, addressing welfare and behavioural issues.
Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies where appropriate.
Support whole-school initiatives to promote positive behaviour and wellbeing.
Keep accurate records and monitor student progress.
Assist in safeguarding duties where required.Requirements:
Previous experience in a pastoral or student welfare role within a school.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion and empathy.
