Our client are looking for a reliable and organised Warehouse Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in ensuring products are handled, packed and dispatched accurately and efficiently.
You will support the Warehouse Manager and Clinical Trial Coordinator in the day-to-day running of warehouse operations, ensuring all goods are processed and dispatched in line with MHRA guidelines and company procedures.
Hours: Mon-Fri, 4pm-8:30pm
Key Responsibilities
* Sort, organise and store inventory in the correct physical locations and within the SAP system
* Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch, including cold chain and ambient products
* Generate final invoices, apply courier labels and ensure accurate order documentation
* Pack products to a high standard while maintaining cost efficiency
* Maintain accurate records of all warehouse transactions
* Assist the Warehouse Manager with daily tasks and ad hoc operational duties
* Move inventory and materials between warehouse locations to support manufacturing activities
* Monitor secondary packaging stock and notify the Warehouse Manager when replenishment is required
* Carry out daily and weekly warehouse cleaning duties
* Work collaboratively with colleagues across Customer Services, QC and Production to meet team objectives
Key attributes
* Minimum 2 years warehouse experience
* GCSEs (or equivalent)
* Good numeracy and basic IT skills
* Well organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Process-driven with a focus on accuracy and compliance
* Proactive, service-orientated team player able to work effectively with others
