Main Responsibilities Lead and inspire a team of childcare professionals Maintain Ofsted compliance and drive quality standards Oversee personalised care planning and implementation Manage resources and home operations effectively Foster positive relationships with external professionals Support staff development through supervision and training Implement robust safeguarding procedures Create a nurturing and structured home environment On call and some weekends availability Pay review after 6 months’ probation and proof of Ofsted ability Requirements To be considered for the Registered Manager – Residential Childcare position, you will have: Level 5 Qualification in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare Substantial experience in children’s residential settings Evidence of ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ Ofsted inspections Thorough knowledge of childcare legislation and best practice Proven ability to lead teams through challenges Understanding of trauma-informed approaches Experience working with regulatory frameworks Strong Communication and relationship-building skills Enhanced DBS or a willingness to apply for one through us About Vision for Education Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding children and young people.
