Description
You will be responsible for the architecture, governance, and optimisation of their CRM and automation ecosystem, ensuring it operates reliably, compliantly, and at scale. Your remit will include designing workflows, rationalising legacy systems, and implementing automation that drives measurable business outcomes. Acting as the technical authority, you will collaborate across teams to deliver campaigns safely and efficiently while future-proofing the CRM infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the architecture, data model, and integration strategy of HubSpot (or equivalent CRM) and marketing automation platforms.
* Rationalise legacy workflows, undocumented processes, and workarounds to enhance reliability and scalability.
* Define governance standards, change control procedures, and technical best practices.
* Design, build, and maintain advanced automation across email, SMS, and CRM-based channels.
* Ensure data accuracy, privacy compliance, and consent management while mitigating single points of failure.
* Fully document workflows, dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies to centralise knowledge.
* Enable marketing teams through training, guidance, and technical support on campaign execution.
Experience
* Deep expertise in HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent CRM and automation platforms.
* Strong technical understanding of CRM architecture, APIs, data structures, and automated workflows.
* Experience untangling complex legacy systems with a focus on reliability and scalability.
* Commercially minded, able to identify opportunities to increase conversion, RPR, and LTV through automation.
* Exceptional documentation and knowledge management skills.
* Trusted advisor and technical authority capable of collaborating across business functions.
* Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and consent frameworks.
Remuneration
* £55-65k depending on experience
* Flexible working (3 days in the office and 2 WFH)
