Location: Dougie Mac, Young Adult Service – ST4 8FN.
This is a permanent, full-time vacancy that will close in a month at 23:59 BST.
Responsibilities
* Provide safe, effective, and person-centred care to young adults within our purpose-built Young Adult Unit and community settings.
* Coordinate and deliver individualised care plans, working in partnership with young adults, families, and external professionals.
* Mentor, train and assess the competence of Care Support Workers.
* Act as a keyworker for a small group of young adults, ensuring continuity of care and advocacy.
* Participate in service development, audits, and educational activities to help grow and improve our service.
* Liaise with professionals across health and social care to ensure integrated, high-quality support.
* A role where no two days are the same; you may be supporting on a community outing, taking care of a young adult during a seizure, or developing your leadership skills by coordinating a shift.
What We’re Looking For
* A Registered Nurse (RN Adult / RNLD) with current NMC registration and post-qualifying experience.
* Passionate about delivering care that promotes dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
* A team player with strong communication, coordination, and mentoring skills.
* Confident acting as a professional role model and supporting a developing workforce.

Salary: £34,031.09 - £37,191.34 FTE per annum (Depending on knowledge, skills and experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours a week (will also consider 30 hours a week)
