The role We're looking for a Senior Communications Manager to lead internal and executive communications for G-Research. This is an exciting opportunity to really define what internal communications looks like and create a culture of effective communication in a major finance and technology business. You will play a key role in managing the messaging around multiple transformation programmes and work closely with key stakeholders to ensure our vision and values are embedded throughout the organisation. You will also play a leading role in a number of our 3-year initiatives, focused on culture, recognition and technology. Key responsibilities of the role include: Being involved in high-level strategic planning and decision-making within the marketing and communications department Developing internal communications strategies that align with G-Research's objectives, market positioning and culture, whilst collaborating with key stakeholders Playing a key part in management meetings and contributing to our broader strategy and key projects Playing an active role in the internal perception of company health. Providing communication counsel and support to the Executive Management and Leadership Teams Developing and delivering inspiring communications to drive employee engagement and productivity, and support the embedding of our culture and values Delivering robust change management communication plans for a range of initiatives to drive employee awareness and adoption of new ways of working Drafting engaging, informative and professional communications to a consistently high standard, whilst ensuring the intended audience is at the forefront of your mind Owning and managing a wide range of communication activities, such as staff newsletters, bulletins and other collateral Organising and managing town halls and lectures Providing editorial and writing support for the G-Research website and blog, as well as executive social media communications Playing a key role in the development of a new Intranet solution Working alongside the HR Management Team to develop culture and recognition programmes Leading employee communications committee and support CSR programme What are we looking for? This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about communications and the value it can bring to an organisation. You will come from either an internal or external communications background and be hungry to make your mark in a marketing and communications team. The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: An understanding of external communications and experience with executive positioning Strong leadership qualities and the ability to manage complex projects Experience working in tech and/or financial organisations A proven track record of developing innovative and engaging communications campaigns A proven ability to advise and lead on complex communications plans that span corporate functions, such as legal and finance The ability to manage the needs of diverse stakeholders from all levels of the organisation Excellent written and editorial skills, with experience in multiple media formats The ability to develop relationships with senior executives and influence stakeholders on the value of communications, acting as an ambassador for internal communications Desirable - experience of Confluence, Webex, Slack and Canva Why should you apply?
