About the Role
An Outstanding girls school in Harrow seeks a passionate History Teacher to join their humanities department. You'll deliver engaging history lessons at KS4 and KS5, covering a range of historical periods and events, and inspire students to develop a critical understanding of the past. We are seeking a great History Teacher.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging History Teacher lessons, tailored to the curriculum.
* Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations, ensuring strong academic outcomes.
* Develop students' analytical and research skills through historical inquiry.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Contribute to the development of the history curriculum and resources.
* Organise and lead history-related extracurricular activities, such as history clubs and trips.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in History.
* Proven experience in teaching history at secondary level, including A-Level.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for historical inquiry.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students.
