About the Role
Shift pattern: varies day‑to‑day but planned in advance.
Contract: Permanent.
Availability windows are provided in the shift schedule.
Responsibilities
* Recruiting and training team members, developing their operational and leadership skills.
* Coaching the team to be passionate about the store’s products, building the brand and ensuring customers receive the right range, quality and service.
* Leading trade activity and using expertise to grow sales and maximise profit.
* Building managers’ knowledge to deliver store change plans and resource‑planned activities, ensuring hours are worked where most beneficial and resolving root‑cause issues with sustainable solutions.
* Ensuring workplace safety and legal compliance, coaching the team to use all available security tools.

* Excellent communicator who shares knowledge, experience and best practices, working collaboratively to deliver results.
* Customer‑focused, building strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
* Energetic and resilient, maintaining momentum in challenging environments and owning decision‑making for the store.
* Driven to exceed expectations, acting with integrity under all circumstances and inspiring confidence in others.
* Aware of competitors’ activities and always seeking ways to improve the store for customers.
