The RTR Group is a well-established provider of building and property services, operating across London, Essex & Kent. We are currently seeking an experienced Carpenter Multi-Trade professional to join our skilled team. While the core responsibilities lie in carpentry, the role also requires the ability to perform a range of other trade tasks including tiling, painting, plastering, and general property maintenance.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:00am 4:30pm
Participation in a 24-hour call-out rota is required.

Key Responsibilities:
Carpentry:
Construct, install, and repair doors, windows, floors, stairs, partitions, and other wooden structures
UPVC repairs and replacement (windows, doors, locks)
Fit skirting boards, architraves, units, and fixtures to a high standard
Multi-Trade:
Painting & Decorating: Surface preparation and application of paint, wallpaper, and finishes
General Maintenance: Perform small repairs and multi-trade tasks as needed across sites
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in carpentry, with additional skills in at least plumbing and painting
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Physically fit and capable of working in diverse environments
Basic electrical knowledge is an advantage
Qualifications & Requirements:
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent qualification)
Multi-trade qualifications are a plus
CSCS card preferred
Full UK driving licence
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar multi-skilled maintenance role
Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently to a high standard
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
